Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and RoundTable It for use of the RoundAbout website and mobile app. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use RoundAbout.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account.
- Give accurate details, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Do not share an account or impersonate anyone.
- Tell us at support@roundabout.live if you think your account has been compromised.
2. Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of everything you post — your reviews, messages, forum posts, images and club artwork. You give us only the permission we need to actually run the service: to store your content, and to display it to the members of the clubs you posted it in. We do not claim any right to sell, license or publish your content elsewhere.
Only post content you have the right to post.
3. What you may not do
- Break the law, or help anyone else do so.
- Harass, bully, threaten, stalk or impersonate anyone.
- Post hate speech, or content attacking people over race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or serious illness.
- Post sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises a child, under any circumstances. We report this to the authorities.
- Post pornography, graphic violence, or content glorifying self-harm.
- Post another person's private information, or content that infringes someone else's copyright or trade marks.
- Send spam, run scams, or use the service to advertise.
- Upload malware, scrape the service, or try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to any part of it.
- Evade a block, a club removal, or an account suspension.
4. Reporting, blocking and moderation
To report something: use the Report option on any chat message, forum post or direct message, or on a member's profile. If you cannot reach the in-app option, email report@roundabout.live.
To block someone: open their profile and choose Block. You will stop seeing their messages, posts and comments, they cannot message you, and they cannot send you a friend request.
We review every report of objectionable content and act on it within 24 hours. Acting on a report means removing the content, and — where the behaviour warrants it — suspending or removing the account responsible. Serious cases are removed immediately and permanently.
We may remove content or suspend an account without prior notice where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken. Where we can, we will tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, reply to us and we will look again.
Club owners can also remove members from their own clubs. That is a club-level decision and is separate from our moderation.
5. Clubs
A club is a private group. The person who creates it can set its rules, invite and remove members, and change its settings. Content in a club is visible to that club's members. If a club is closed or deleted, its content goes with it.
6. Availability
RoundAbout is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we ever shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice and time to export your data.
7. Third-party services
RoundAbout shows catalogue information from third parties, and can connect to your Spotify account if you ask it to. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. See our Privacy Policy for what is shared and when.
8. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, and you can export your data first. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for content posted by other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and tell you in the app or by email if the change is significant. Continuing to use RoundAbout after a change means you accept the updated terms.
